When I took off the horrible front plate carrier I saw 4, not 2 holes. I decided 4 little holes is better than 4 bumper plugs, so these are for sale. :-)

I'm worried about the asme thing, which is why I'm probably just going to leave the front plate on. I think they used 4 screws, are these people crazy?!?

it should be 2 screws that hold the bracket to the bumper. 4 screws that hold the plate to the bracket

For some reason I think my bracket has 4 screws. I will double check though because I'm going to want these if not lol.

So, the expected holes were from the 2 holes used to mount the plate carrier to the bumper cover. The 'surprise!' holes were from the hardware used to mount the plate to the carrier. They were too long and pointy, making 2 more holes.

They used 4 screws on mine too. Looks like the new plate carrier uses 4 screws.
