F30 vs F31 rear pics (what's important!)

Hey all, I know most of the chatter lately has gravitated away from F30/F31, but I still thought I'd share these pics I took in February on my way back from Vienna! My wife and I made a pit stop just West of Vienna and happened upon this beauty of an F31, just sitting there. I couldn't pass up the opportunity for a side by side comparison, so here you go. Pardon the road grime, that's what happens over here in the winter...

(Mine is on the left of course, F30 335i, US Spec. On the right, probably a 320d or i, judging by the exhaust.)

I have to say, I like his winter wheels a bit better than mine, but other than that, mine wins IMHO. I was surprised at how much better looking the touring is in person than what I expected, but it's still not quite for me. I think Audi does the touring a bit better... And with my back seats down, I'm not sure that the extra room really amounts to enough to sway me (I don't have any dogs to lug around)

But I digress! For any of you still on the fence, I hope these pics help!

Surprisingly, I think the f31 is a lot nicer than I thought it would be. The side by side pic is very telling. If I needed the room, I would not have a problem owning the f31. BTW your winter set up is sweet.

Looks great. Do you guys commonly debadge your vehicles over there?

Thanks for the compliments! I was worried about the wheels, but very pleased once they were on.

About the debadging, yes. I see more cars debadged over here than with the markings. I tend to agree that it just looks cleaner. I also get some guilty pleasure in knowing that only people who are really interested in the cars can tell exactly what I have! I think more people on your side of the pond would do it if the fact that it's a factory option were more readily known.

Interesting. Here in Canada I haven't commonly observed BMW's to be debadged compared to Subarus etc... I think I will have to get out the hair dryer and dental floss when my F31 arrives.
