Closed on a 2014 328D
Closed on my new 328d, it's a year old with 30k miles but that's not a problem for me. This car comes with everything I need and it's my "drive wherever I want" because of the fuel economy. Plus it's obviously a lot more spacious than my 1 series. I'm not going to be adding any mods or anything on it really, I'd prefer to keep it stock and get the decent fuel economy as promised.

Anyone know how the "auto shut off" button works on these F30s? Especially the diesels? |

If the auto start/stop button is illuminated, it means you have overridden the system. Meaning it will not shut down while at a stop. Also it will do the same if you put it into "sport" mode. However if you have it overridden and you put it into "Eco Pro" mode it will allow the engine to shut off at a stop.

You can disable it every time if you would like but it serves 2 purposes. 1. Fuel economy obviously, why run the engine while you are at a stop? 2. Zero emissions during this time. Just drive the car and enjoy it! The diesel is an amazing engine and I wish we had it in more cars! |
