Fresh Air Intake Location

Hey guys,

I recently took my car in for its first scheduled service and lately the air coming from the A/C has been smelling funky. They didn't really do anything about it during the service (one of those 'can't duplicate issue' deals), so I was going to use one of those air vent spray cleaners. I used to use it on my Mazda3, but the fresh air intake was easily visible / accessible.

I can't seem to figure out where it is on the F30. My dad and I took the two plastic covers off in the engine bay that are at the base of the windshield, but I didn't see the intake.

Anyone know where exactly it is and how to get to it? (pics would help!)

thanks,

Praz
