Hello, I was wondering if the coding mentioned in this forum is fully supported for the 340i? I am very new to the forum and hope to become more active in the future.

Hi Shawn,
Waiting for my cruise control buttons being shipped and will retrofit to my F45 Active Tourer and code. Since I am a newbie, I would like to confirm if my understanding is right and I need to follow exactly below steps. I don't like to mess up things.

After connecting to the car:
Select "Expert Mode“.
Click on the "Coding" tile.
In Vehicle Order Box, click on the "Read" button. This will display the car’s FA .
Click on the “Save” button.
Create a file name and Save it.
Click on the “Edit” button.
The view will automatically change to FA-editor.
Expand the FAList folder system on left until SALAPA-Element is visible.
Click on SALAPA-Element to select it.
You will see the SALAPA-Elements in the window at the bottom
Add 544 directly into the bottom window.
Click on the Save Changes Icon at the upper right corner of the lower window.
Right-click on FA and select Calculate FP.
After FP is calculated, WITHOUT ERROR, save the new FA.
Select “Expert Mode”
Click on the “VCM” tile.
Load your saved FA file
Right-click on FA and Calculate FP again.
Select the “VCM Master” tab
Click on the “Write FA FP” button.
New FA will be written to the car.
Click on "Coding" button.
Read FA
Activate FA
Read SVT
Right-Click on KOMBI (the ECU itself not the underlying CAFD).
Select CODE.
Right-Click on FEM (the ECU itself not the underlying CAFD).
Select CODE.
Right-Click on FEM (the ECU itself not the underlying CAFD).
Select CODE.

Yes, theese are the correct steps, but why are you coding FEM twice?

LED Headlamps:

I noticed when you unlock car with either Comfort Access or Key FOB the Corona Rings light up and stay on, and what appears to be a low powered low beam turns on for a few seconds, then turns off and the coronas stay on...

Is there a way via coding to DISABLE that low light completely when unlocking car so only the rings illuminate during this process?

VO Coding - LED Fog Lights Question - Replace 520 with 5A1?

I just had a thought pop into my head.

For those retrofitting the F32/LCI LED fog lights (me included), there is FDL coding that done to turn off the bulb checks and more importantly, control the voltage of these lights.

But given that now the F30 LCI models come equipped with the LED fog lights, option code 5A1 supersedes 520 - can we do the same in the VO by removing 520 and putting 5A1 and do VO coding in FEM_BODY to achieve the same results?

If retrofitting OEM Fog Lights, it should be possible.

Can someone send me E-sys 3.26.1?
I have 3.27.1 already and it works but I'm having some other compatibility issues and think that i need the older version as well for troubleshooting.
Thanks
