Rusty Seats: Australia
Just had my service today, and BMW Australia they said they wont fix my seats, as BMW Australia currently isn't aware/not enough complaints of it yet..
anyone have any success with fixing their seats? I know it not a big deal, but it sucks when the guys in US get a fix while we dont.. does anyone know how to contact BMW Australia about this? lets get the complaints rolling in!

You have rusty seats and they won't fix it?
"fix it" as in replace the seats or fix it as in acknowledge it's rusted and won't do anything about it? I'd hope if it's visible, they would attempt to rid it/replace it? edit: old thread but seems it was acknowledged and rust was removed, not seat replacement http://www.f30post.com/forums/showth...9#post12472029 |

I brought my car in 6 weeks ago for a few things including replacing the steering and removing the rust from the seats and wheel hubs. They fixed the steering and said they had ordered a cleaning kit from Germany to remove the rust. I was going to get a call once the cleaning kit had arrived. I will chase it up.

I have rusty seats, they acknowledged it, they saw it, the dealer knows of the issue now (showed them on the internet). but they cant do anything until BMW Australia recognises it as a problem.
I dont want to be rude to the dealer (why shoot the messenger?) but i do want to raise this up with BMW Australia.. how do i contact them?

Facebook via bmw australia or ..
"If you would like to contact BMW, please call us on 133 BMW (133 269)." either way the dealer should be within its right to remove the rust for you. I think they're trying to fob it off and figure how to bill it internally.. whether BMW Australia recognise it as a problem and reimburse them maybe? |

I'm now satisfied - although disappointed that there was rust in the first place. |
