I'm confused. There's one that seems to sit on top of the trunk and one that sits on the edge of the trunk. Are they two completely different rear spoilers?

yes, there are two... one has a higher kid, and one appears somewhat flat

Bmwpartspro. Mines just came in. Was only $200. Extra $100 if you wanted it to come painted I believe.

Painting it. It's in the paint booth right now and hopefully getting it installed by the end of the day. Will post some pics up once it's done

Yeah I noticed this too...both spoilers look the same but they're just put on differently. Not sure exactly which is the correct way to install it but I noticed the "official" pictures of the msport they dont install it flush like it is in teh black car although I kinda like how it's installed on the black car more!

The one that sits forward on the boot is Carbon fiber. The one that sits on the edge of the boot is plain plastic and has to be painted.

I was always against boot spoilers, but damn that looks superb. Not flashy just perfect, I want one :-)

Did your ordered it from bmw? Is it simple black when it comes than has to be painted?

Is the same spoiler that you would order it with the car?

Yea really easy it comes with 3m tape already attached to the spoiler. All you have to do is put it on

My Alpine White 428 came with the Carbon Fiber OEM deck spoiler. My dealer got it from another dealer because it was equipped the way I wanted it. I was apprehensive about the Carbon Fiber against the other high gloss black trim pieces on the sport package. It is incredible, you don't even realize it's Carbon Fiber unless you are directly over it. It makes my 428 look truly unique, so please if you live in Staten Island, please don't get one ~LOL~
