Its ride height is in the middle. We didnt want to go down to low as it still needs to settle. No dhp. The float is gone Not harsh at all....just more connection with the road. Zero bounce

Still running the P7 Runflats? I was thinking of going non-runflat when having the coilovers done.

jjc4scab Which Bilstein coilover kit did you go with? The B14 or the B16? Wanted to apply your feedback to the right kit. I'm looking at the B14 kit as that's all they have for xDrive.

Got my B14s and had car pretty much set to stock MSport orig height maybe - 1/4"
Drove for a week and the infamous slow turn clunking sound started.
Do yours behave OK?

Even Bilstein tech support admits tendency for spring noise

Auto innovations here in Milpitas. They are a very reputable installer of various brands of suspension setups.

I called Bilstein support and described the problem.

Bilstein's suggestion to noise problem

"Lots of places where coilover suspensions can make noise vs stock. Most likely the spring getting twisted as you turn and releases when there's enough tension. Try lubricating where the spring touches the upper mount and the blue washer on the bottom"

That's it. 2 squirts of WD40 and noise is gone.
I can turn the steering at a standstill without the bongo drum noise.
