ya you should replace the caliper bolts once they've been removed as stated above. Also yes if there are no leaks you should be fine. The brake line fitting also shouldn't be tightened using a normal wrench you should use a flare fitting wrench as brake fitting are different then standard

He might not show a fluid leak right away if there is a lot of air in the line at the connection point from the fluid leaking out of the hose.
Expect he might have just unhooked the hose & let it hang down.
