Hey guys, new here,
I ordered a 2016 EB 340xi around end of November and should be taking delivery around Mid January. I am 23 (24 in January), and working as an Associate Consultant, but that's just the general title. I am mostly a developer working with databases. This is my first car purchase. It is also a hobby and something I am passionate about. I just love to drive in general, so I wanted to buy something nice and I still have money to save on the side. I'll be doing some exterior mods first, looking at getting a front lip, side skirt extensions, rear diffusor, and a trunk with a high kick. Followed by lowering springs, wheels/tires. Then performance ones those are released. I look forward to being apart of this community, nice to meet you all! |

29 and a Product Line Manager for a few major brands which you see everyday at major retailers and grocery stores. This is my 2nd BMW, my first was a E60 535xi and just recently purchased my 2014 435i xdrive msport 6spd. My wife drives a 320i xdrive and we love BMWs, since earlier this year I purchased a used 2007 escalade to lug the family/kids around i was given the permission to buy the 4 series coupe.

49. Physician. I was conditioned to be pretty frugal when it comes to vehicles and it was only just now that I convinced myself that it would be reasonable to buy something other than a reliable Japanese car that I keep for several years.
My father did splurge in 1977 and bought a yellow 320i with MT. It was my responsibility to keep the car clean and waxed. I wanted a 3 series ever since. Just picked mine up 2 days ago! Took the old man for a drive on twisty roads yesterday. He was nostalgic, and wanted to drive it, but he cannot because of health problems. If I had to do it over again I would buy a BMW 16 years ago when I finished training. Life is short. |

This is one of those threads that will keep growing and its awesome! Some of you may post twice because of a change in jobs that's how long the thread can go. Lol
31- Literary Agent/ Publishing Consultant for a pretty big Book publisher. Not one of the "Big 3" though. Interesting job as I talk to a VERY diverse group of people from around the U.S. that think their book is a best seller. I work from home for about 6 hours a day. I can work weekends if I want too, but usually I do not so I can enjoy my new 2016 335i GT M-Sport, MG over CR The Bimmer that sucked me into the brand like a giant vacuum was the E39 540i. Wow, what a car!! Used $5500 with 220k on the clock. Still drove wonderful. This was in 2009, so I was about 26. After that got a RWD 2011 328i E90, then after that, a 2012 X5 35D (lost in storm Sandy), then after that a 2013 X3 35i M-Sport, now finally the GT. Hope to meet with some of you one day. I like to host events.... Happy New Year folks!! PS. Wife works as a fine dining server in Manhattan. Her income shocked me for 2015, 80k she made!! Unreal....Plus we have 2 beautiful Children. |

Unemployment for the last 4 months due to corona virus. Making a $350/mo payment isn't hard and don't think you need any sort of status to own a BMW. They go from 50k to 20k in 3 years
