Kal-El: The Interior

Hey Guys, been about 2 years since I did anything to the car but this past Christmas my wife said she wanted to pay for me to get a new steering as my gift... Got my mod bug going again. Just got the custom steering wheel in today!!! Mad props to Cat at iND as they helped make the custom project a reality ( with a couple other goodies)

Interior Install planned for tomorrow!

Sorry for delay so still an on going project. The alcantara on the wheel started developing creases from day 1 and is getting worse tried a heat gun to get out from the moment I noticed and no luck working with IND to get it resolved, overall love the feel of the wheel.

Also waiting to have the top dash trim and sliver trim on wheel painted blue to match rest of trim with Superman logo on dash and wheel trim.

Been on this project since October 2016, can't wait for it to be completed!!! But been so busy with work and traveling I haven't been stressing over it too much.

This might be the first RICE interior I ever saw in a BMW . The outside looks pretty decent tho.

I think this look could work if you go back to some OEM trim pieces, the blue trim pieces are way too tacky. This is a BMW not a Civic. The steering design idea looks good, especially in the first pic, but the actual stitching looks horrible, and it looks like you are missing some padding. These are all things u can fix, go for a more clean look. Blue with red interior is superman enough also put on some pants next time lmao.

Thanks for feedback everyone, tried to do something a little different. I wanted to do blue with red trim for dash. I was thinking matte blue and not a gloss blue but went with a recommendation of gloss because the Superman logo will be on dash. Once it's done I will see how it looks. Had no desire to rice the car, unfortunately I guess the look came out that way
