Thp 340i lowered on dinan springs, and bumpstops. Debating if the car looks good, or too low now. I personally hate the slammed look, and am going for a "mature" oem+ style.

Also wondering if my car will look "slammed" with some people in it? Like myself + 1 or 2 people.

Doesn't look slammed at all. If you're going for OEM+ you nailed it, that's a very clean and OEM+ looking ride height.

It might look slammed with a back seat full of people though...

It looks just slightly low for my taste, by maybe 1/2", not slammed though. With a decent amount of weight in the back the rears are going to tuck.

Your car looks great. Why worry about extra weight in the back unless that happens daily

Looks a touch low from the back. Raising it a little and adding spacers would look better IMO.

Looks 1/4” high in the front to be honest, to me. But I like them with a hint of forward rake.

That’s NOT slammed, you aren’t even tucking tire. Nor even close to the ground in anyway.

Doesn’t look teen ricer at all which seems to be a more blunt way of stating your fear?

It's perfect, I wish my Eibach springs had this lowering.

Talking Too low

A bit too low for my linking... Low-key bothers me when the wheel arc and the wheel hole arc are not concentric

I love it! And I'm a 52 year old corporate financial analyst who wouldn't be caught dead in a car that looks like it's driven by a 17 year old kid. No slammed cars or duck bill spoilers for me. I wouldn't go any lower than that though.

Given your goals in terms of looks, I think it's perfect. The tires aren't tucked, there are no huge fender gaps, rake looks great. This is what OEM should have looked like, IMO.

I want my F31 a bit lower but definitely not slammed/stanced and will be putting on the exact same Dinan springs in the next couple of weeks. It's great to see an example and to see it does exactly what I'm looking for. How do you find the ride on those springs/stops?

Thanks man. So I did the dinan springs, bumps, and shockware. On well paved roads its been great. The only issue I've had is that I was living in Houston (literally moved back to NY last night), where the roads look and feel like they were airstriked. It was a little more harsh but not awful. I'd say overall it depends on the road quality where you are.

Haha howcome? I was living in nyc for the last 10 years, then Houston. So I havent had a car up here since like highschool. I'm living in northern westchester / CT area. Are the roads that bad? I will be in lower westchester from time to time and the city.

Is there a risk I blow out my suspension or something?

I can't say anything about CT, except that I hope their roads are better. NJ and NYC roads are horrible, so you'll definitely want to take caution. Huge potholes (including manhole covers that are sometimes 5" below the road surface), really bad strip repairs that are more like speedbumps on highways, and mismatched expansion joints on bridges have taken out my two front shocks. I think I've seen sub-Saharan African road networks in better condition .

Getting rid of those runflats would probably do a lot to preserve your car. I'd do that before making any changes and just keep an eye out when driving unfamiliar roads.
