I have had it in my 335i for a couple of weeks now, pushing the stock settings of +3.5lbs of boost. It definitely pulls harder but it's not crazy power like a JB4ed e9x. But for <$400 and 5 minute install = highly recommend. Mostly because I know it'll be a cheap upgrade to stage 2 down the road. I also picked up a can tool to clear codes but I have not needed to yet. I've put about 400 miles on it with no problems except my gas mileage went down to 16.5 for the last tank. I'm sure that has more with me being very heavy on the pedal & 100% city driving. Still better than the 14.5 i was getting in my e93. Go get it so Terry works faster on a stage 2!!!

Just installed it...took longer to get my laptop out of the trunk and spin up a windows vm than to install it.
Sadly I'm doing about 8 kmh on the 427 so I can't comment on performance yet lol. |

Yep, burned through a tank of gas pretty fast over the last couple of days. Not sure if there's been any dyno testing on the F30, so I don't believe there are quoted numbers. I tinkered around with +4psi however and I can tell you, only anecdotally though, that this feels faster than the N54 with the JB3 on map 3....feels somewhere between 3 and 5.

good feedback thus far.. i'm definitely leaning forward toward picking up the BMS Stage 1 once i break my 335 in properly... i'm fairly mechanically inclined as i'm coming from a modded gen 1 CTS-V; however, i've never dealt with a 'tuned' german car.. any write up's out there on how to hook things up and what computer programs are necessary to make software updates or configuration changes as needed ?

Can this really be a 5 minute install? What has to be removed first before plugging in the wire harness?

Their stock F30 335i shows great numbers. The tuned dyno's show HP from 307-310hp, torque from 340-357lb ft, at the wheels. Very nice. |

To the guys who have stage 1, is there a noticeable difference or should I just wait for stage 2? I know u can just pay the difference when stage 2 comes out but just want to know...
