2014 335xi M-Sport Lease Offer

Hi,

First time posting here. I'm looking to lease a 2014 335xi M-Sport and here's the offer from (the one and only) local dealer:

MSRP: $61,280
Selling Price: $55,400
Term: 36 Months
Mileage: 10,000 Miles/Year
Residual: 63%
Money Factor: 0.00099 (0.00148 - [7*MSD] 7*0.00007)
Acquisition + Doc Fee: $1,105

Monthly Payment (with 11.25% tax): $625.55
Due at Signing: $4,550 (Security Deposit) + $1,105 + $625.55 (1st Month Payment)

Dealer won't move on MF. Insist 0.0013 is their buy rate and 0.00148 is their best sell rate available. Now they are bugging me to make a decision quickly as the car is sitting at the port and "could be gone in any second".

What do you think? Any input is appreciated.

------------Update-------------
Left local dealer and went with THE David instead.

Final Build:
2014 BMW 335i x-drive M-Sport
EBII/Black Dakota/Alum Hexagon
Cold Weather + Driver Assistant + DHP + Tech + Premium
19" 403M + M Sport Brake + HK + Auto High beams + Black Grilles + Sport AT

MSRP: 61,600
Selling Price: 55,895
Term: 36 Months
Mileage: 10,000 Miles/Year
Residual: 63%
Money Factor: 0.00081 (with 7 MF)

$500 down and monthly payment with 11.25% tax is $599.06
Due at Signing: $4200 Security Deposit + 1st Month Payment + Doc Fee + Acquisition + $500 Down = $6,100

David is super fast and it literally took 30 mins over the phone to complete the order. The time saved from the back-and-forth with local salesperson alone is priceless! Highly recommended!

Sounds like a solid deal - is that selling price around invoice? Most dealers are using a sell rate of .00170 for April for the 3-series, I believe.

Thanks for the info. I didn't know MF markup is a common thing.

For the price, I didn't do an exact calculation but dealer's word is it's $500 under invoice.

I'd push for the bmw financial services rate of .0013. Dealers will give you that, you shouldn't accept a markup there. I just got that rate a week ago.

Agreed - my salesperson would only do .0017, but others within the dealer have the authority to do the buy rate of .0013. I would keep pushing.

Originally the dealer quoted 0.0017 MF and I got them down to 0.00149. Compared 0.0013, monthly payment would be higher by $20 and over 36 months it will be $720. That's a sizable profit and I will keep fighting!

The dealer is being really pushy today and I decide to give them a couple days to cool down. Then I will try negotiating the MF again

DO NOT lease a car with anything but the .00130 MF and 63% RV. Let them make a little profit on the selling price. Ex: lets take 200 under invoice add the 1250 rebate this month making it 1450 under invoice. Watch it so they dont jack the fees on you. With MSDs ur payment should be way lower. Call another dealer and let them give you a better price then take it back to the first one. You shouldnt be the one stressed out...they should

The current price already included the $1250 option credit, otherwise it wouldn't be $500 below invoice. I missed college graduate discount, BMWCCA discount etc. all the good stuff...

Though I will fight on the MF. Thanks to the confidence I gained from this forum

Well look they are getting the 1250 from BMW (dealer looses no money). A great deal on the car is 500 bellow invoice + this credit. They are making way too much money on you.

My deal coming this week:
EB 335xi
55k MSRP
10k
RV 63
MF .00130
$559 with 7 % tax included, no MSDs, $1900 due at signing

Hmm I might be wrong. I will double check with the dealer. Since it's an order so it would be odd for them to include current rebate into the calculation as the incentive may change in a couple months.

It's already better than before. We used to have to pay tax on the full vehicle price even for leasing, starting last October it's changed to tax on payment only with an added 1.5% lease tax. Can't win one way or the other
