Nice interior. You know there's an M-Performance steering wheel specific to the M-Sport steering wheel so you don't have to get a new airbag, right?

You can use your current airbag, paddles, controls etc. You will lose the heated steering function though.

Yes, you would just need to buy the wheel, everything else can transfer over to the new wheel

Auto Bavaria didn't tell me that, wat a bummer. I guess they wanted to sell me the new airbag so that they make more money. I don't have heated steering though.

Tks for this info MassBimmer. When I wanted to purchase the mp. steering at Auto Bavaria the parts dept. guy didn't tell me this. He just said airbag sold separately. So now I know.

thought about doing this but the 'carbon' trim on my m performance steering wheel makes me feel like i'd be replacing hex aluminum with hard plastic everywhere has anyone had issues with the m perf trims creaking or such?
