Back at the local nursery gardens, again... I do like that end spot; out of the way and less chance of the old folks whacking their doors against the car

Filthy again; but it's non stop rain here in Blighty!

That's awesome. I've toyed with the idea of picking up a 2nd but it would have to be EBII

I am ISO any information regarding the F31 chassis in comparison to the F30 chassis.

I currently own a 2013 335i MSport F30 with the N55 and 8 speed trans. Due to a recent rear end accident, my car may be a total loss. I have recently rebuilt the N55 (5k miles) and don't it to be all for nothing.

If it is deemed a total loss, I would like to swap my N55/trans into an F31 wagon. If anyone has any information regarding fitment or chassis specifications around this swap I would grately appreciate it! A forward to an informational forum with knowledge about this would be appreciated as well.

Thank you!

I'm sure it can be done, just takes money, time and coding. I havent seen or heard of anyone doing an N55 swap for F31 - could be interesting! See a few B58 swaps and from talking to those folks, it is (was) quite costly

Appreciate the heads up! Would you be able to direct me to anyone of those individuals who have completed the B58 swap? Thanks.

5mm hubcentric shims (spacers) and stud conversion kit fitted this morning

Such an easy mod to do but makes life easier when it comes to taking off/refitting the wheels and the 5mm spacers have the wheels sitting perfectly now IMO

12mm spacer was too wide and I didn't want to go with 10mm as they don't clear the hub properly

Congrats... your new F31 looks very familiar to me. Something tells me this is slicers car previously. There can't be that many red MSport F31's with a black MPerformance hatch spoiler and body coloured side mirror housings up top and black on the bottom located in California. (see post #1094 https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...postcount=1094)

351Ms are some of my favourite BMW wheels; they're a superb design. Just a shame they're so heavy. Your F31 sits on them superbly

I ran them on a previous F01 7'er with 15mm spacers:

Was contemplating a small spacer but they are fairly flush. May go for a lighter wheel in the future but for now I love the look of these 351’s

They don't need it on your F31 IMO

Only ran them on my F01 as the offsets on the 351Ms aren't suited and needed 12mm / 15mm minimum
