New roof spoiler design!

Hey! Was surfing around on ebay to look for a nice roof spoiler for my F30. I was thinking of the ACS style spoiler. But then I saw this! What do you guys think? The design looks quite nice, maybe a great matching design for the trunk spoiler? I like It, but I'd really like to see some pic's of it with the whole car. I kind of looks big..?

I think the 3d design roof and trunk spoilers look the best on these cars... except they get very pricey.

I just installed the standard roof spoiler on mine. Subtle but goes well with the lip spoiler

Kinda. I didn't know m-performance parts included a roof spoiler. In any case, it's the one from eBay. Quality and fit is top rate

Looks like a e92 CSL trunk on the roof.

Please correct my ignorance, but I think my physics background is kicking in again.

Why would people use both a roof and a trunk lid spoiler together? Once the air passes over the roof spoiler, the air flow below it becomes turbulent. Wouldn't this render the trunk lid spoiler useless?

You are correct. I was just questioning this and I don't understand the point of having both. It should be one or the other.

As long as us propeller heads are hijacking the thread, which aft spoiler provides the best down force or other handling improvements?

Purely aesthetic (hence cosmetic forum). Just like m-body kits, 19 or 20" rims, black grills, etc, front diffuser, rear diffuser...no real-world/Daily driving advantages to these things that a regular person can feel

The spoilers can complement the look of the car. I have felt absolutely no difference having both spoilers on, having only one or none

During the drudge of a daily city-bound commute, no amount of aerodynamic aids would be noticable to the average driver (or even a F1 driver!).
However, spoilers DO make a difference on the open road, albeit a relatively subtle difference.
After I put on a front lip spoiler, I have noticed a flatter handling response on fast twisty roads (speeds around 100 kph).
I have been pleasantly surprised at the increased handling characteristics of my car. It's more stable and more predictable in fast corners, more 'planted', and needing fewer steering corrections - all-in-all, a less nervous and more relaxed car to drive.
(BTW, I have a front lip spoiler and a rear boot spoiler).

The biggest hassle with a front lip spoiler is having to be careful with parking kerbs, spoon drains, humps, etc. (as I found out to my detriment with a previous 540 Schnitzer).
