Would BMW consider offering more performance-boosting products for the 1M Coupe?

^ This exactly a full M performance for F30/1/2 model - like the M135i or M550d ... so we don't have spend a fortune upgrading and adding costs to insurance. Off the peg if you like

It's not a live Q&A session. The questions will be collected and we'll get answers from BMW for our members.

Why is the PPK max torque limited to 17 ft-lbs increase for the manual tranny?

Is clutch wear the concern?

will you offer powerkits for M cars? you should really consider parts for old models as BMW cars keep they appeal even after the new model is out so there is a very high demand for cool parts... for example, a bmw performance bodykit for an e46 would sell like there's no tomorrow

BMW has no interest in building new parts for a model that is between 8 to 15 years old at this point.

Slim chance I know, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who would be very interested in an M Performance suspension option for xdrive F30s... Any shot?

The wide range in prices seen on this board for the PPK and installation costs from various dealerships is nuts.

Any chance you can force your dealers to stick to a price across the board?

From reading around the forum on various threads some seem to say in a very general sense that the PPK is available on he 335i and others specify it must be an M-Spot model. Very confusing to what the real deal is on this...

Could you please confirm for us whether or not you must have an M-Sport line car or can this be put on any 335i regardless of the "line"? My car is a sport-line and I would love to have this added at the port, but I need to let my client advisor know ASAP.

Thanks in advance for the answers!

Also, for the others asking about install cost and price BMW's own guides seem to say labor should be 0.6 hours on cars with builds from 12/2012 onwards so just do the math based on your dealer's hourly rate. If they're charging you more than that in labor I would call BS on them. ;-)

Dude! That confusion is totally cleared out. It is confirmed that you don't need the M-sport for the PPK.

Just go to BMW USA website --> Accessories and search for the "Powerkit" for your car. The description clearly says "for all BMW 335i".
Moreover there are many without the M-Sport who have already ordered it - the order requires the VIN and BMW has never got back denying on the grounds that the car is not an M-Sport line.
