So Motortrend compared the 335i Msport vs Jaguar XE S

Great comparison and to be honest it makes me excited for the Jaguar, looks like an awesome car and they've been making great cars again (F-type anyone??)

I agree with Johnny, my car definitely wobbles on the way out of hard corners at high speeds, it really kills the fun.

It's rather disappointing that BMW being the Ultimate Driving Machine could totally overlook this huge issue.

Is this also an issue with the coupes?

Is there a way to fix this by adding any type of suspension mods?

The suspension design is still okay, it's just tuned horribly. Replace the rubber bushings with urethane, skip the goofy adjustable suspension and upgrade to a higher quality shock than the stock Sachs with some appropriate springs. Most importantly, get rid of the horrible RFT's for a real tire, it makes a huge difference and is largely why Cadillac and Jaguar are killing BMW in dynamics.

BMW are not going after performance anymore, people need to realize that.
They are going after a perfect combination for a daily driver that is a bit under powered so BMW can sell you the MPPK.

To BMW, better fuel economy and better interior design (and exterior by the way) are way more important than handling corners at high speed. Lets be honest how many drivers out of the tens of thousands that own the 335 are driving their cars to their limit on a track or on roads similar to spain roads.

You want more power get the MPPK, you want better performance get the M car. I dont necessarily agree with that logic, but this is how BMW is thinking the last couple years and looking at their record sales it has been working.

yeah why compare a car that isn't for sale yet with a car that's on its way out? the 340i will be on sale before the jag so this comparison is pointless in my opinion

The article did state that they will do a rematch once the 340i is available.

I guess I don't understand how so many people can post old videos so frequently.

Like do you spend no time on the forums? Do you look at the date the video was uploaded?

Jeez.

Not everyone spends every second of their lives on forums buddy, how about you just relax and stay on topic instead of bitching?

Ohhh the pride…Relax…

If you are happy with your car, then that's all that matters.

Bmw can't always win this game.

This is actually good for BMW enthusiast I think. Because Jagggggg just raised the benchmark, which means Bmw will try to raise it even higher. The result? An even better 3 series next time we trade our car.
