Very nice! Keep us posted if problems arise.
I'm wanting to pull the trigger and get a set of these soon!! So you didnt have to code for adaptive turning lights?

Wow they look fantastic! Although im still unsure whether or not that cutoff is as good as oem xenons the headlights and output look good. If you wouldnt mind posting a link to where you bought these that wouls be much appreciated. Also like someone else asked above was there any coding necessary?

I added some more photos to the dropbox link this morning. Took some with the lights off so you can see fitment etc, and then one with just the rings on.
The beam angle can be adjusted from two screws mounted on the headlight itself. No coding necessary. Its unclear to me how this is working, as I thought you'd have to install something on the struts, but when I make sharper turns an LED turns on and lights up the direction I'm turning in. Price was a bit under $1700. The vendor I got them from asked me to not share details yet, but they'll be forthcoming soon. |

They look great just like OEM. $1,700 seems pricey. At least in my opinion.

So.... another domestic vendor in concord california does list them on their website. But said vendor is NOT listed here..
http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/adsponsorlist.php So I don't want to violate forum rules... but if you search around you can find them.

Can you comment a bit more on the installation and harness? Were all the wires going to the same place? Did you have to disconnect/connect the individual bulbs or just he main harness? I only upgraded couple light bulbs so far and haven't done a full replacement. Does the iDrive control for DRL, Welcome Light, etc work just as fine? What are some of the imperfections in the fitment? I am seriously considering getting a pair... Thanks.

DRL and welcome lights appear to work fine, and I didn't actually notice any imperfections in the fitment. (I called it near perfect because I can't say for sure its perfect) Prior to doing this I considered doing an OEM HID retrofit, but modifying the wiring harness and having to code the car at the dealer was unappealing to me. |

Saw this:
http://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/sh...-Local-Install Looks like the same thing - $1499 - looks identical to the ONEighty ones, and almost the same price. Apparently similar/same ones as the Alibaba ones, which has multiple auto lighting factory sources in China (Shanghai/Xuancheng and Guangzhou) ... which if you go to the other (ONEighty) thread has quotes from $700-$1250. Another forum member texted me tonight and said he got a quote from the Shanghai source for a single pair for $950 (shipped). Looks like these are starting to proliferate all over, just like the Eagle Eyes before them... jeez, can you say Commodity Part? EDIT: didn't realize it until i read through that whole bimmerforum thread later, but apparently there is a circular reference now (last post in that thread - #3) back to this thread lol. So mrclam = "Ben" All i did was google "bmw f30 led headlight dtm angel eyes 3-series" Last edited by squidlyboy; 11-04-2015 at 10:09 PM.. |

These look great, hopefully they will start to become more widely available (in Europe) I nearly pulled the trigger on some of the Eagle Eyes a few months back but didn't quite like the look of them, these look great & will be buying some when available in UK (RHD)
