Selma Parts

Anyone have experience with Selma front or rear bumpers? Do they fit well? Any other aftermarket closer to OEM?

Thanks guys. Seems like a no brainer to save a lot of $$. Any reason to go OEM?

I have a Selma MPerf rep front lip. Fitment was spot on. OEM if you are an OEM junky. There are certain parts where it doesn't make a difference i.e. lips and bumpers IMO. Now other parts, that require OEM tolerances, OEM all the way.

Completely agree re: certain parts require OEM, but just couldn't figure out why anyone would pay $2k for OEM bumpers. Thanks all, decision made, now to go scour eBay for deals...

Did you find the underbody fender liner? My Selma front bumper didn't not properly line up with the original fender liner.

jondaman,
My indy mechanic did the install and said everything lined up and nothing was missing. He stated he was impressed with the fitment.

I had the kit installed Sept 2015. Did you install earlier and maybe the kit is more complete now?

I had the side skirts plus side sill extensions and front bumper plus front splitter.

The only difference between SELMA and OEM is that SELMA doesn't have the sidemarker option right? Correct me if im wrong here

Good and bad experiences with them. I installed an M sport lip from them and due to some error on my part and install, the lip ended up flying off on the highway. The lip looked great while it was on, so that is good and I'm not blaming them for my error. What I was NOT happy with was that they refused to sell me a second lip at the same price as the first one! I got the first one for $120 and they wouldn't sell me the second one for less than $160. The price difference wasn't the big deal to me, it was just the fact that they couldn't match the same price and that irked me a bit. Little details, but I figured I'd put in my two cents!

nikhil1423, so the prices went up from the time you bought them during the "overstock" sale?

My selma front lip cracked over the Easter weekend on a trip to NYC and pittsburgh. Lasted almsot one year but a NYC speedbump did it in. Mind you I did take the speed bump lightly, the lip still cracked in the middle. Left it on until it ended up completely breaking apart.

I'm planning on buying another one and hoping it will last another year. For the cost difference versus OEM, it is worth it.

It'd have happened to the OEM one too. They're both made of the same material, and same thickness. I agree with you though, for the price it's worth replacing, even if you scrape or ding it up, it's so easy and cheap to replace yourself.

Has anyone ever seen side skirt extensions from Selma or another vendor on eBay? I can't seem to find them.

Came with extensions, decals, rivets. My indy mechanic did install. Took 80 mins and everything fit.
