:: BMR Autowerkes :: 335i w/ Innotech Performance Exhaust
Just sharing a build of a F30 335i we completed recently.
Innotech Performance Exhaust (or IPE for short) is a leading exhaust manufaturer renowned for their use of 'valvetronic' technology as standard on all their exhausts. This means you get a nifty little remote control with an "on" button for maximum noise, an "off" button for comfortable cruising and the intelligent "auto" mode that will open the valves at a user defined RPM level. The valves are vacuum operated (as opposed to electric) which means they respond extremely quickly to the button being pressed. Other valvetronic systems may use an electric system which means you have to hold the button down until it is fully opened or fully closed. Overall the system is of extremely high quality and will offer you the best of both worlds - a quiet drone free exhaust for when you want it and a glorious soundtrack to accopmany you on spirited drives. Mods Tune: JB4 Intake: BMR Tuning CAI Chargepipe: BMR Tuning Chargepipe Downpipe: Evolution Racewerks High Flow Cat Downpipe Exhaust: IPE Valvetronic Exhaust w/ Quad "Diamond Black" Tips Dyno Will post up shortly, can't find it right now. IIRC stock it made 185rwkw, tune only 225rwkw and all of the above mods 239rwkw. I would've liked to see 250rwkw so will do some tweaking in the future. How does it sound? Have a listen! |

Would also need an intercooler. The owner of the above car is contemplating a big turbo upgrade so if he goes ahead with that we'd see 330-350rwkw. |

We have tried 50% E85 with an upgraded low pressure fuel pump with some success but some driveability issues so there are kinks to be worked out there. Not sure what is needed to run 70% just yet! One of the hindering factors is the lack of a 'back end flash' to increase the fuelling. A potential way around this is to do a flash tune that only takes care of fuelling and AFRs and leave the JB4 to target boost but we are yet to experiment with this on the N55s (got it down pat on the N54s though so hopefully just a matter of time ) Quote:
There are also space limitations that necessitate this, see pic below, it gets real close to the diffusers mounting point. Last edited by Stuart@BMRAutowerkes; 06-24-2015 at 02:24 AM.. |

ok I can see it now with the other pic you posted. The first one at the angle that it was taken looks like the second tip was tacked on. My mistake.

Yes behind the rear bumper the 328 & 335 are v similar so these tips would suit the 328 no problems.
