Yup.

Turned the heat on for the first time. Even put it on max and 84, tried the center vent wheel both ways

No heat.

Anyone else?

That can't be it. It was 45 degrees outside last night.

We'll see if it does it in the morning.

I have an appointment anyway and a loaner so even if it doesn't act up it's going to be there.

No issues yet. Starting to get cold here in the Northeast but so far when I ask for heat, I get it.

So the morning I brought it in, heat worked fine.

I picked it up and did a few errands.

Hey look, heats not working!

I call the dealer, tell them I am bringing it back now and leaving it on. He says good idea and he will have a tech waiting.

Tech checks it out and confirms this is not right.

He takes it in, also leaving it on so he can check sensors while its working in this incorrect state.

Dealer sends me on my way, this time with a 535GT which is a comical vehicle.

Dealer calls today. A whole new panel/HVAC system was ordered and will be installed tomorrow.

Hope that does the trick.

I have observed the following. Even if the outside temperature is cold enough for you to want warm Air, the inside of the car gets warmer due to the closed windows and a bright sunny day. There is a temperature sensor inside the cabin which senses the inside temperature and regulates the intensity of heat or cold air relative to the temp inside at the time. This is annoying when you come in from the cold and want warm air to warm you up. Not sure the logic here but I am with OP on this one that this climate control stuff is by far the most annoying thing I have experienced since I took delivery about a month ago.

So true! I wish they would get rid of the automatic climate control and just let us specify the heat/cool setting we want.

My issues are with it set to manual.

I had fans at max and temp at 84. It was very clear to the tech something was fubar.
