Anybody want my 330d lease...M135i inbound

So you guys know i have been unhappy about the delay to the 330d. Well, on Friday I can pick up a M135i, in exactly the same colour and trim combo I had ordered the 330d in.

When i ordered I was quoted 7-8 weeks, that has now turned out to be 16 weeks.

I will cancel tomorrow, unless Warberry or anybody else would like me to propose them to pick up the deal.

Its on a 6x23, 12k miles p.a. The spec is Estoril Blue with black interior strip and brushed aluminium. Prof Media pack, Xenons/headlamp washers, Heated Front seats.
Monthly payment is £409 inc vat, with six months deposit.

Not the prettiest, but I did own a bug eyed Scooby!

Its the engine and noise I have gone for - plus the amazing handling (google the reviews).

That bike was £4.5k!!!

Oooh not a bug eye? I still miss my blob Sti

Did you take the 135 out for a drive? I have never driven one. My dealer has a 1er in EBII with the performance 'stuff' on it. Looks nice.

Smart move. Virtually a 1M but without the limited slip diff and M suspension set-up - but £10K list cheaper. Given its the next generation 1 series on from the 1M, I would imagine its very good on handling anyway.

Fantastic spec you got there - should be a great car.

I had a new 1'er yesterday as a loan car and was pretty impressed with it. First thing I noticed however was how light the steering was. Much lighter than my E90 330d LCI (and my car was much lighter than my old Pre-LCI 330d!). Noise levels from outside seem a little higher than a three that I noticed when idling at the lights. Handling was fab, the one I had was a 118i, probably SE model but very comfortable and little body roll - although I didnt really push it. Was surprised how well it went for "just" a 118i. But then checked BMWs website and its a 1.6 turbo engine with 0-60 of 7.4 secs!!! Not bad a all. One thing did annoy me was an very annoying "clunk" every time I took my foot off the brake pedal.

With regards to your lease, very tempting. Thats a good price but not quite my spec. I'm not fussed about the media pack and would rather put that cost towards several other options.
I'm trying one last-ditched attempted at getting a good deal on a 330d and should get the figures back from a dealer tomorrow. If that dont come good I'll hang on for a while and wait for some decent discounts.

Very nice 1 series.

Quick question, I can't see any flappy paddles on the interior shot....does it not have them?

Bet you can't wait until Friday.

Actually, M tweaked the suspension as well (but yes its not from the M3, like the older 1m).

I too drive a 118d - quite impressed and chuckable. What surprised me most its the same front interior/cockpit as the F30!

Congratulations TMP. Great car to drive but it's no Beauty Queen. No BMW really is except for the Grand Sport.
Now fuck off to the f20post site!

BTW, might be a good idea to PM warberry. Perhaps he's lost interest in BMWs and is going for a Vulva!

My pleasure Nick, still a shame about how you have been treated.

Any joy with anything else?

Lordy me, I hope not. I feel already sick at the thought of that sight for sore eyes.

I wish I had waited for this:
I just love it so much.

Dude, the F30 is not much more of a looker either
Coupe will be i am sure!

I love the Gti (although never owned one) so read with interest about this today.
Cant quite understand two power levels, with just 10bhp difference though
At least the Ed35 put some distance between the 2 models

I agree, the F30 is also a bit fugly, nay quite a bit fugly but it can't compete with the F20 in the fugly stakes. Typical BMW one upmanship from you!

But the F30s were going cheap and I ldo so love a bargain.

Stupid regarding the two power levels and only a 10 bhp difference. Twats.

The Performance Pack Version of the Mk7 GTI with the 10 extra bhp has a Limited Slip Differential and laps the Neuromental Ring 13 secs faster than the standard GTI.

CHange of plan...We are off on Hols tomorrow, so decided to pick the car up next Saturday when we get back.

Just couldn't face driving it home tonight, then leaving it on the drive for a week! This way have something to look forward too

That's v.good, but cmon - they should have put 30-35 more horses in it (as is there Edition 3x tradition)

Options cost a fortune on a Golf shopping trolley. The Performance Pack will cost at least £1k probably.
