Looks like US November production not getting the new navi?

That would be disappointing. I wonder why they would do that?

interesting. i thought it was confirmed that it would happen before the end of autum (per bmw release) so that would mean end of Nov.

I dont necessarily ever trust a CA - half the time they dont know left from right or just make educated guesses to not look like idiots. its not their fault theyre just not privy to this sort of info

Short answer: no one knows for sure.

Tell your CA to get you a build slot anytime after Nov 4th, and tell us what you end up with

OK, you be the guinea pig I'm ready to place my order too, my CA says we'll wait until PW45. Maybe they'll get official confirmation before then, maybe we won't. I want to order a car before 12/31/2012 for sure, I'm thinking that someone in the US who orders on Nov 4th (or later) will take US delivery before 12/31/2012 to confirm. Otherwise, I don't know of any other confirmation, besides seeing it in a car.

Also was told today by CA and Sales Mgr that US not getting new Nav starting PW45. Supposedly there was an email going around from NA claiming Europe only beginning PW45. I'm waiting to see this supposed email (I doubt I ever will).

I asked them to build an Activehybrid 3 using ZTP and 609 and see how it looks on the order and then do same with a 335i for pre PW45, PW45 or later (both Germany and SA builds).

I'm waiting to hear the results of that experiment.

They plan to call NA Monday to get an official response. If there is an official response.

Appears US is NOT getting new NAV beginning PW45 builds. This is another letdown from NA. No MSport brake option, no new Nav. Thx!

You did not. BMWNA is not taking it for MY13. If you were in Europe or Australia you would likely get it. BMW Australia already identifies Nav and Nav Pro with 3D maps on their website for the F30.

So the new Navi Pro is for MY14+?

If you read through the other thread, you'll see my other posts. BMWNA has confirmed through dealer reps (NA reps) as well as dealer training materials that the new Nav Pro is not coming to US cars at least through calendar year 2012. They did not specifically say MY12, only calendar year 2012. A few NA reps are telling dealers not until MY14. We won't know for sure until NA announces it. My guess is for MY14.
