F82 / M4 hood on a F32

I helped a local shop test fit the F82 hood on my F32 today and it looks like it's just a tad too long for those that are curious.

Fun fact: The F82 hood is so much lighter that we couldn't even close it and had to remove the hood dampers. Approx 1/3 the F32's weight.

If some company can come with a f82 style hood for f32 that will be great !

f82 hood really add a more muscle look on f32!

Purchased that hood over 3mos ago. Duke Dynamics says its stuck in customs at Los Angeles. About to get our Law Firm involved, I'd suppose it would've been nice had I received it on the time line they advertised. Buy at your own risk...

thanks i also saw that you bought the CSL trunk thats messed up since they are basically the only ones that have these parts. No one else has created a hood or trunk but hope everything comes out okay

A lighter hood would be nice. I find the one on the F3x's to be pretty heavy.

Good to know, I wonder if you can adjust the front bumper fitment to give it a little extra room to fit the M4 hood

highly doubt it. you pull the bumper forward then you separate it from the fenders. i think the shop is either considering making a copy and trimming the front down, or just making the f3x hood and molding a hump on it.

the two body lines on each side of the hood on the f3x vs f8x is different as well. the f3x seems to be wider apart.
