Sport Displays changed from 320/320 to 400/400

I noticed yesterday after taking my car in for its first service that my sport displays changed from 320/320 to 400/400 . I had the mppk installed months ago which required a new DME since my build was pre 11/12 but my displays never showed 400. Has anyone experienced this? I wish I got a power bump, I'll take what I can get for free

No, they just finally fixed your displays. You already had the power. There was another member here who got the MPPK installed, but his displays didn't change. The tech told him that although his displays were 320/320, the software had been installed. The tech was in contact with BMWNA regarding the issue.

I was referencing the power increase in the newest mppk I believe for the 2014's. I am happy the displays have been updated now I just need more mods to hit that 400 mark one day!

I think the research showed that it wasn't a power increase, but rather a reworking of the software because the old MPPK wasn't compatible with our 2014 DME's, hence BMW's decision to make it unavailable until they rewrote the software.

My September 2012 build changed from 320/320 to 400/400 immediately after my MPPK was installed which also required a new DME.

You're car came with 320 from the factory? Pre MPPK my displays showed 300/300 then went to 320/320 post MPPK now 400/400 after dealer update

Mine came with 320/320 from the factory as well. I do not have MPPK. You had your DME updated to the correct software for the sport displays themselves.

Did you ask for them to do this, or was it an automatic update?

No I didn't ask I was only in for an oil change. They updated the coding for the scheduled maintenance intervals but that was it. I noticed it later that day when changing some settings. My car never showed 400/400 after my MPPK install so I was surprised.

It seems 400/400 is the default setting for anyone with more than 300hp.

Have you guys checked to see what your max HP is on a given run. I have maxed out at 335 on occasion. Peak tq is about 340.
