Hmmmmmmm.
Miles per hour must be smaller in the states. UK independent tests gives the 435i circa 5.4 seconds to sixty. Certainly nowhere near the 4 second bracket. |

Awesome!
The M Sport 435i really looks incredible (and menacing) when clad in M Performance parts. I imagine that a fully decked-out 435i xDrive launches like an absolute monster.

The "claimed" stated BMW time of 4.7 seconds is the xdrive with launch control.

Seriously but 60k for this car. I just don't get it. Buy a used 335 (with n54). Much better performance and value. I test drive the new 435i and was not overly impressed. Just my 2 cents.

I thought the same thing. The 4 series is awesome after seeing it and driving it I can say it earned "4" nomenclature

If we are talking about stock, show me a single metric where the N54 E92 was faster?

http://www.automobilemag.com/reviews...5is_dyno_test/ I drove the n54 for 3 years and the n55 for 4 and the N55 definitely felt slower but with less turbo lag and it more than made up for it in being trouble free. I only went in for oil changes in my whole 4 years where as the N54 was at the dealer atleast once every 2 months.

Sure there's potential based on the N54 alone but stock, it's not better. Also consider that not many people want to deal with the issues that plagued early E90/E92's with the N54 engine - don't really care if BMW is going to replace it under warranty, it's still time and hassle just for something that is older and could be potentially better.
