Windshield Wiper Redesign

Why in gods name did they change the windshield wiper design? Some idiot now damaged my car at a car detailer or car wash from the wiper blades hitting the hood... This should be compensated by bmw to be fixed since the old designs dont do this.

I dont want to hear "but its more aerodynamic" nonsense

I actually had the dealership damage my hood when I brought it in for scheduled maintenance. Told them about it and all they did was put touch up paint on it and it came off after the first car wash afterwards. I ended up having to go buy the touch up paint and fix it myself

I recently picked up a new set of wiper blades from my dealership and declined their offer to install them for me for this very reason. You'd think a dealership would know better, but I wasn't willing to take that chance.

Yup, BMW should be responsible for an idiot damaging your car. Also all future car designs should be banned to prevent further damage.

Mate, get real, bmw doesnt owe u anything

The stupid detailer, yes, bmw, no

These wiper designs have been around on other cars for a long time for aesthetics and aerodynamics, u scratching ur car doesnt change that
