That looks really cool and useful. Too bad they took away all the red light camera in LA. Now people just run thru reds uncontested but too many people were getting tickets for going thru yellows for crying out loud!

I wish we could get European style license plates, the proportions look cooler in my opinion and what difference does it make to law enforcement what the shape is so long as the information is legible?

I have the freebie dealer chrome plates. They look great, are slim, and works well with the chrome accents if you have the luxury line.

Irvine cops care and they'll pwn you for it. Seems like 1/2 the people on here are from irvine.... the only city were bmws are like camrys...

The irvine bmw frames do look good. But do you really want to give them free advertising?

Yes, that's the color. Not as much blue/purple "pearl" effect as in Sparkling Graphite, but nearly the same color. I do like this shade, particularly with my red interior.

Thanks! I think we are going to have the same car. I ordered coral red interior too.

Very possibly. Mine has 8AT, premium, the package that includes the black grilles and M-Performance exhaust, and I've installed the MPPK (well worth it!). No nav, though - nice, but too expensive/too costly to maintain, and I also didn't opt for the high-end sound system. One thing I missed was the "sport transmission" with paddles - thought it was on the order, but it was not. And, if you don't get BMW Assist, your voice activation doesn't work.

I bought this frame for my '06 E60 back in '05. It looked good on the 5er and still looks pretty good on the 3er today.

Aside from the noPhoto, I always felt that the chrome "M" license plate frames looked the best. If I didn't flagrantly violate Ohio's requirement to have a front plate (I've never been stopped for it), I'd run one of those on the front. You can usually get them pretty cheap on ebay even for the genuine BMW ones.
