Yeah, you owe me about £800.......don't worry my lawyers are onto it.............expect a threatening letter in the post. They also rekon I can sue for emotional suffering......for the years I will own my EB II when really I wanted a Tanzanite Blue one after seeing yours.

You may be right about the emotional suffering though, I would feel exactly the same way in your shoes I love the Tanzanite Blue, it still brings a smile to my face I would however point out that the emotional suffering I will have every time I wash the car or park it in a public car park or see a kid with a football within 50 yards of the car are probably more than I would have had if I'd stuck with my original EBII. I'm gonna be a nervous wreck soon How about we settle out of court with a beer and a view of those lovely cars of ours

But yes OK if we can meet over a beer and I can get to admire the hand cut merino leather, and mesmirising paint job.....I might just accept that posting the spec and pics was just a short sighted error on your part, that you are deeply sorry about. |

I am of course fully repentant and promise not to buy another car like this one for a few years at least. In the meantime, beer it is

I saw a white non-M Sport on the Burgess Hill bypass yesterday afternoon at around 2pm.
This one had xenons - it's only the second time i've seen one with xenons. I still haven't seen a M Sport on the roads othere than when i look in a shop window as i drive past! BTW - woke up this morning and someone has thrown 2 eggs at my car!!! I was livid. I'd parked it on the road rather than my driveway (mother in law had her car on the drive). Not sure why anyone would do that - It can't have been a drive-by unless they threw two at once.. So someone must have left their house with 2 eggs in a premeditated attack!! Barstewards - if i catch them they'll be getting a little more than an egg in their face..

Another white non M Sport to report from me too. This time going past Cabot Circus in Bristol turning left towards the city centre. Called into the dealership too and saw an EBII M Sport but that was in the showroom so I don't think it counts. I also saw an Imperial Blue one there which was nice to see as I got a chance to compare the blues a bit more. Tanzanite wins of course, but I may be a bit biased in that regard

Hey guys....I saw a Black M Sport with 19"'s
But it doesn't count......was on the back of a transporter It wasn't a BMW transporter as all the others were random too, so guessing a lease company delivery? |

NISFAN,
in response to your request for a review of the camera system, I thought I'd post my opinion and some pics. Basically, it's great! Reversing camera: Very clear image, guide lines and obstacle markers can be switched on/off independently. Side view (front) cameras: For seeing out of junctions/beyond parked cars. Very useful for avoiding the sound of screeching brakes and the sense of impending doom as you see someone slide toward your wing on full lock The yellow line markers indicate the position of the car's nose, and you gt a clear viw for approx 100m. This image ins't very clear as it's my garage entrance so light was poor. Birds-eye view cameras: Utilises the front(side view and windscreen), reversing and wing mirror cameras to give the effect of a birds-eye view around the car. Distance viewed is about 2m front & rear, and 1.5m to the sides. Great for manoeuvring around parking spaces, awkward junctions (the type with odd kerb patterns that always catch the tyres or alloys), and checking for kids/pets/etc. Works in conjunction with the automatic parallel parking system, which I've not personally tried yet, so you can see around the car and stop the system if you think something is in the way. This view is inside my garage - it does give an elongated appearance but is very "natural" when you see it in the flesh. Yes I do get it that close to the left wall and the shelves behind, but it's the only way I can get out of the car! The visible obstacles are actually below the level of the wing mirrors, but the appearance is of it stretching up to the "eye" over the car. Hope that's helpful for anyone considering it as an option on their spec. |

Thanks for the write up
I am struggling with the birds-eye view, are the camera's under the mirrors looking down? I have gone for the reverse cam even though I don't use it much on my Merc. I am thinking when reversing out of my drive in winter with steamy windows will make me glad I went for that option. Camera's looking at the front wheels would be good to prevent curbing the alloys when parking, is that what the Birds-eye does? |

Yep, the cameras are on the underside of the wing mirrors.
You can see the wheels turn from under the body, so ideal for watching near kerbs. I'll try to get a shot tomorrow when I pick the wife up from work - a kerb next to her office buggered both nearside alloys on my old SLK! |

Thanks,
My merc has almost un scuffable alloys as the tyres have nice rim saver lips on them. Hoping I haven't 'tuned out' from watching how I park, nothing gets to me more than curbing alloys |

Innit!
Honestly though, I've noticed only about half a dozen F30s on the road. Every 3 series I look at seems to be an E90. And considering the 3 series is the new clitoris on the roads, F30s mustn't be that common Either that or there aren't any in Castle Donington and aren't many that travel up and down the M42 when I do
