Anyone has this install to their F30?
Is all the function going to work for F30? like the led and 0-60

Thanks

Yes it will work, but you are showing the old model(s), look at this picture for the current one:

I think these are the numbers:

For the 8AT it would be the 32 30 2 230 187
For the 6MT it would be the 32 30 2 230 186

Thanks

But I just contacted my local dealer, they said that this new steering wheel cant fit my F30 328i and only the one without led display will do.
also they said that i need to change the airbag as well.

Just got a feed back from the local dealer, they said only the one without display available for my F30 328i.

Hi GuiltyNL

Wondering through these older blog entries and I saw your post. Is this your car? I have asked at my BMW dealer and they only have the old models - do you know when and where I can get this? I will be flying into the US to buy parts for my BMW next month.

Thanks in advance
Phil

I'm curious about this one also. I'm having a hard time finding a sport line airbag for use with the first (old?) wheel. The second (new?) looks like it uses the m sport airbag.

I'm going to talk to the dealership tomorrow. Got my fingers crossed.

This was not my car. It was a M Pefomance F31 demo car from BMW AG (Germany) this car was at the Essen Motorshow at the end of 2012.

Just show your dealer this picture.

I just found the part number for the same design but without Display.
Update: Part Number for Wheel with display added. Found on actual M Performance pricelist.

32 30 2 230 188 = M Performance Steering Wheel II without Display
32 30 2 230 189 = M Performance Steering Wheel II with Display
This will fit for cars whit the S710A M Steering Wheel. Same build, so Airbag and other parts can e used from the S710A.

Thanks for your valuable information! But I cannot locate the 32302230189 M Performance Steering Wheel II with Display with realoem or any other parts website, is there any hints? I'm going to install this steering wheel within this month...Thanks for your help in advance!

Has anyone actually purchased/installed the pictured steering wheel (with the round airbag)?

I would buy it in a second. It never made sense to me that the M Performace wheel did not share the airbag with the M Package wheel...

As far as I know it's not heated (all the other Alcantara Wheels I've read about are not heated)

+1 That's why BMW changed the design of the new Alcantara Wheels for the F30 series. Looks much nicer, doesn't it.
