I did some coding today and add sport+ SAT ect.
I forgot to save a backup before coding. Now is there any way to turn back to the first point?

Yes. Just load factory FA, and VO Code (Right-Click ECU => Code) all ECU's that you previously coded.

Quick question: Is there a way to code the parking sensor to automatically turn on when the speed is below a certain threshold say 5 mph - this way the behaviour of the parking sensor will be the same as what Mercedes has implemented. This will be much more convenient for us to pull into a parking lot at the front (typically for USA and Canada parking).

Thanks in advance.

Has anyone found out how to add auto hold? I know I would most likely need to buy a new switch panel for something because there currently isnt a button.. But the hardware in the car should be able to handle it if we can find the right code. It has hill hold assist when starting on a hill, so it should be able to auto hold... right?

Finally coded my car tonight

BTW, thanks to all who takes time to clarify steps and post such detailed instructions (especially Shawn, always, and I mean always there to help).

What I have coded:

- Fold/Unfold mirrors, close windows and sunroof w/fob and CA
- Removed the protection that stops the windows when opening the door
- Rear fog lights
- Weatherband radio
- HP/LBS-FT in Sport Display
- L7 slider
- M Performance logo on cluster

I'm wondering, is there any other "must have" codes ?

For CIC, someone found a way to change the display in the CIC screen ?

And has anyone tried the "Enabled Basic Voice Recognition" ?

What is the L7 slider? I'm really hoping you are referring to the L7 equalizer, I would love to add this to my car but I have the standard non HK USA spec audio.. can I add whatever that is?

Alex.

not risky at all....there are no technical differences....the transmissions are EXACTLY the same between a car with and without SAT.

I have it coded into my car, works like a charm

No, you will not get an EQ from it.

The L7 Slider Replaces the "Surround" on/off checkbox with an "L7 Surround" Slider (-5/+5) on Settings => Tone screen.

I don't know about the F30, but for F10, the Slider still appears to function like the checkbox it replaces with "Off" (full left) and "On" (any setting other than full left)."

Yes, that's how it appears on the F30. The check box is replaced by a slider, but the jury is still out as to whether this slider actually does anything or not.

I've never heard of a binary slider before! LOL!
