Question on Sports/Comfort/Eco pro Mode in 335i

Hello, All

I just got 335i one week ago. I just found the system automatically
changes to the Comfort Mode every time I ignite the car. Is there any way I can change this to "keep last user mode". Thank you so much.

btw, my car is sports line, has premium package and driving assistance package equipped.

Nope, it always returns to Comfort mode by design.

Many people have looked for a way to code it to remember the last setting, but we have not found anything yet.

I wish! Comfort mode is default and I don't even think it can be coded.

Was wondering exactly the same thing. I find it odd that the suspension switches back to Comfort, but it remembers that you had the Sports Displays up and displays them.

Just be happy that it doesn't default to Eco-Pro.

The Efficient Dynamics versions of the F30 do that in the UK!

The iDrive screen remembers the last display as does the climate control, etc.

What's not remembered: Driving mode, auto-start-stop (which can be reprogrammed to remember), auto-wipers, and auto-high beam.

Yea, the thing I don't get is why the auto-wipers is not remembered. It was on my old Bimmer I believe.

I'm glad they aren't on by default. You don't want them coming on in the car wash accidently.

Or in frosty conditions. Seen wipers ripped off in icy conditions, which don't default to off.

I've never had a BMW that doesn't default the wipers to off. Good design, IMO.

I also understand why other features like suspension default to a normal/comfort mode. Sport mode becomes a deliberate action, as from my observation these days most BMW drivers (certainly here in the UK) are not "sports car" drivers.

If you have DHP/ZDH does it also do this for suspension (to comfort)?
