Think he was talking about the M Performance ones that are probably going to be priced around $1500

Correct. I am not talking about the M Sport Suspension. M Performance Suspension is a completely different animal (according to BMW anyway ).

Isn't the M Performance Suspension going to be a dealer install option only?

I have heard that some M Performance items may be made available for factory install later in the year?

In my case, my dealer had no trouble adding the SS Exhaust to the factory build, but the M Perf. brakes could only be done at the Dealer. Go figure.

Got it. Thanks.

I guess we will see. BMW's naming is quite opaque.

So to sum up....

1. Regular Suspension
2. Sport Suspension - 10mm drop
3. M Sport Suspension - 10mm drop
4. M Performance Suspension - 20mm drop
5. Adaptive Suspension - 10mm drop

and 2 and 3 are the same. 4 is aftermarket item that dealer can install (may be factory available in the future). 5 is the adjustable dampers.
