Oem runflats for now 225/40/19 and 255/35/19

Then non-runflat 235/40/19 and 265/35/19 when the runflats go bald

Reading the thread, would it be best to assume that the optimum tyre fitment for a S Drive car (RWD) would be 235/40/19 and 265/35/19?

That would ensure no rubbing with a mild drop (on springs)?

Just out of my own experience I'm currently running those tire sizes with Dinan Springs which are a 3/4 inch drop and for the most part they don't rub, but on occasions when I hit some deep potholes or coming off a steep drive way I get some light rubbing.

Is it rubbing front or rear?

My other option is to go with 225/40/19 & 255/35/19 but choose a tyre that runs “wider” compared to others like a Mich PS4S or a GoodYear F1

Yeah only in the Front not the rear, I'm running Michelin Pilot Super Sport which seem to run a little "wider". But again I'm only rubbing maybe 5% of my driving time so I'm not too worried about it.

Sadly the guy who used to own this doesn’t reply to PM’s or his original thread, but this looks just perfect!

It’s hard to tell from the pic, but the tyres are obviously PS4S’s - I’m guessing 225/40 & 255/35 based on the stretch but I’d love to know?!

Can anyone running these wheels with 235/40 & 265/35 please post some feedback with regards to rubbing & some pics showing fitment?

Not much detail in here with those sizes. Most seem to be OEM 225 & 255 or 235/35 & 265/30

that's what I ran and loved it. no rubbing but no suspension changes either. much smoother than the thinner sidewall with a bit more compliance.

I'm running this set up on my 435 GC Xdrive stock M sport suspension, it rubs at the fronts when turning with full lock. Not sure if lowering will make it better or worse.

I'm planning on changing the tyres to 235/35/19 and 265/30/19. Taking it down a profile should sort out the rubbing.

Love the wheels and the car drives a lot better.

Strange! Rear is fine though I guess??

Do the fronts ever catch the arch, or is it the arch liner they rub on?
