holy moly you couldn't be more right. i'm floored lol. there are 2018 330 models. been in touch with dealers and incentives haven't changed in a few months. was surprised that residuals are 57% on xDrive models (24000kms, 36 mo) and only 52% on RWD models. that more or less negates the additional cost of the xDrive.... they really want you to take xDrive eh!

Been looking for a deal on a MY2018 order. 6 speed, Mineral Grey, Cognac. Asked two dealers for 6% below invoice before incentives but was told that they couldn't do it. When is the best time to order a MY2018 taking in consideration production ends on 10/2018.

6% under dealer invoice + factory credit. that would be like 17 / 18% off the MSRP. No wonder dealer says No. That kind of discount is usually for one year old demo/used car with around 10-15,000km on the clock.
For example, a $70,000 340 msrp and with what you have indicated, you are asking dealer to sell to you for around $57,500 + fees + taxes. |

What should I be shooting for? 6% with dealer and factory? I just got an offer for 5% off from dealer but because I am ordering the vehicle the incentives are unknown until I pick it up. Also, is ordering now for a April pick up better than order in Spring? Thanks

Opps I f%$# up my posts. I meant to say 6% under MSRP. If I use $72k as the bench mark, I am looking for about $4300 of MSRP and then hoping for at least $2000 in incentives. Do you think that is reasonable? Last year in May/ June the 340i had $3500 in delivery credits plus another $3500 for cash deals. In order for me to pull the trigger I am trying to stay between 65 and 70K. Also, does anyone know how long it is from order to delivery?

I was just offered 5.15% below MSRP which worked out to $3600 before incentives. I think I might pull the trigger after Christmas. I really hate this wheeling and dealing crap.

Hey I have no problem and I totally understand the need for BMW to make huge profits to fund research and development... I get it... I just don't want them to make all that money off of me.

bumping this old thread, anyone care to post their latest 2018 340i deals or quotes? right now the lease rebate is $3000 i believe. Would it be unreasonable to expect the rebate to be higher over the next few months?

As I posted in an earlier thread https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1516711
In June I picked up a new lease 2018 340i with metallic paint, premium package enhanced, and CarPlay for approximately $7600 below MSRP. On top of this, the dealer picked up one of my remaining lease payments and BMW Canada picked up three more. |
