Sorry about the car. Insurance should total this bitch out. It's insane.
This is exactly why I live in SoCal. Good luck on the claim.

My brother lives in Plano, TX, and was telling me about this. I thought he was exaggerating until he sent me cellphone pictures of golf ball size hail stones outside his house! He told me he had to garage both his cars and he was sorry anyone without a garage and car out would be loyally scrrewed. I asked him how his 5 series faired, he just laughed said he was out when it all started and he jumped into the car and drove home like a bat out of hell. A few extra dimples on her, but not much else.
Once I saw the pictures and started appreciating the scale of it, I was like wow, those things can kill!! Imagine being out without shelter and these start raining down on you! Death by stoning right there. I used to live in Plano, TX in the late 90s, but never saw anything like this then. My sympathies to all those affected. Plenty of property damage for sure, beyond just cars.

Just incredible how mother nature can total a car like that!
Sorry that happened to you and good luck with getting it resolved.. (Note to self: Do not ever live where it hails)

I bought a car that only afterwards I noticed had some slight dents from hail (bought it up-country - it doesn't hail where I reside). Paintless dent removal did the trick but left the 3 slight ones on the roof as I wasn't keen on them stripping the headliner and sunroof. These are a whole different kettle of fish - ouch!!! Didn't think possible!

This is some sick damage, enough to kill a human. In my humble opinion, I think it’s a total but who knows…I hope they cut you a good deal. Things like these make me want to get higher coverage with the AARP car insurance estimate calculator. You can never be too prepared.
