19" Style 401 Wheels - Run Flat All Season Tires - Possible?

My 2013 BMW 335i xDrive is on a vessel in transit to the US-West Coast.

The vehicle will come with performance summer tires because option 2A4 19" Style 401 wheels requires option ZPT Performance Summer Tires.

I prefer all season ultra high performance tires such as Michelin Pilot Sport A/S. But these tires do not appear to be run flat.

My dealer and I are starting a dialog to _possibly_ replace performance summer tires with all season tires.

Did anyone successfully replace performance summer tires with all season run flat tires through the dealer? Do these tires exist?

After performing my own research, all season RFT (run flat) high performance tires which fit Style 401 19" wheels may not exist. Front: 225/40-19; rear 255/35-19.

I don't think you could run the staggered setup.

Similar for the 18" sizes, if you opt for AS, you still get staggered RIMS, but you won't get staggered tires. Nature of the AS option apparently.

x drive is iffy you wanna be really careful about your selection of make. stick with runflats no matter what you choose. i have pirelli sottozero runflats with the 19inch stock wheels. i tried the new michelin alpin nonrunflat didnt work. the dsc is very finely tuned to hard rubber. dont go to soft and stay with the size of the original tire.

all season i dont know if they make em but you may as well do a winter and a summer set up.

I plan to keep run flat tires. No plans to change the tire size.

It would be nice to have options, i.e run flat all-season high performance tires which fit OEM Style 401 19" wheels. Unfortunately, this option does not appear to exist at least today.

This is the first time I have seen that changing tires would negatively affect the stability control. Do you have first hand experience of this. I would have that was driven simply by wheel slip. Sticker tires would give less slip and DSC would not engage as much?
