ENET cable pins....question

anyone that has an ENET cable...I just got mine in the mail. 2 pins on the bottom row in the center stick out a little bit more than the rest. Is this normal?

Yes, it's normal and a good thing.

Pins 4 & 5 are ground connections.

When you plug the cable in, it's grounded before the data connections are made. Same when unplugging, the grounds disconnect last.
