I'd happily recommend Private Fleet, they went out and negotiated pricing on my behalf and eventually placed the order with North Shore BMW.

Here's a break down of their quote on my 320d Luxury Line:

Retail Price - $60,900
Metallic Paint - $1,556
Head-Up Display - $1,690
Sunroof - $2,470
Lane Departure Warning - $1,076 (this is supposed to be cheaper when fitted with Pro Nav but they told me that the higher price was on the quote but the difference was factored in to the discount)
Music Interface - $186
Bluetooth/USB Connect - $424
Rear View Camera - $846
Pro Navigation - $2,845
Luxury Line - $3,467
Internet - $154
Dealer Delivery - $3,995
Stamp Duty - $2,545
Registration - $432
CTP - $500
TOTAL - $83,086
Fleet Discount - $6,906
FINAL COST - $76,180

All of those prices include GST but since I'm leasing the vehicle (at least partially), the leasing company removed the GST before calculating my monthly cost.

You could have gotten the 328i for this price with all the same spec. But that said, the 320d is the better car in my opinion and different to the 328i. 320d, excellent throttle response, great in gear acceleration and pulls like a train without drama. slower 0-100, but we're not teenagers anymore.

Hmm I woulda expected it to be in the lower 70's but you do have alot of options there.

I would disagree that 320d is a better car, If you're comparing it against 318 320i then I would say you'd definitely get the better engine of the lot.

But coming from a long line of E90's F10 and E60's. I've got to say the 328 and 335s currently have the most appealing engines.

I did agonize over buying the 328i, but at the end of the day fuel economy was paramount for me - I'll be doing around 40,000kms a year in this vehicle and the lower consumption, coupled with the price of diesel compared to premium ULP made the decision for me.

I agree. I also hate the sound of the diesel at idle. I had an X3 20d next to me at the lights and the wife says, "that's not our car, is it?"

Guys... thats just my 'Opinion', both cars are great!!?

As for the sound, lets not overplay it, if we really cared about sound it would be the 335i or M3, this generation of F30 engine in my wife's 328i F30 sounds like a diesel to some extend compared to my inline 6 at idle.
