I noticed last night that RTTI wasn’t working and the same today. When I go on the app it’s telling me the car is still parked at work yesterday.

Do we really have to call BMW? Shouldn’t it just come back online once BMW have got their sh!t together?

I have been having problems with Deezer on and off for the last month or so.. sometimes its working fully, sometimes it will only play the the current album you are listening to and wont search for anything else and sometimes it just finds certain songs or albums from artists. Its driving me mad.

Cant seem to find a definitive answer above. Do I need to contact BMW for them to sort it or will it just sort itself out?

Just talked to my dealer. BMW are having problems with all connected drive services he said. May take a few days to sort out but it should all come back on itself.

My car hasnt had any outages/ issues at all.... maybe it certain batch of sims in some cars?

Weather, deezer, send location/ command to car, check fuel levels all work

Was travelling down from Manchester to Sussex and had rtti for about five minutes ... matched google maps and then it went back to tms and told me there were no problems .. suffice to say google maps was right and the m25 car park was right where it was this time last week. So tms is definitely working correctly

I haven't been able to use any connected drive service in the last 24 hours and have found Online Entertainment (Deezer) to be intermittent over the last few weeks.

What I have noticed on the Account Settings for Online Entertainment is that the data provider has changed to 3 UK, whereas it had always been EE before. Wonder if BMW UK have switched to using 3 as the provider for connected drive? Based on my experience of the network coverage of 3 for 3G it could explain a lot!

Phoned BMW connected services today they said they have problems and that the last update was this morning and they have no idea when it will be fixed. It is a problem with one of the phone companies which differ from car to car hope for a few days.He also said that it would connect by itself and I need do nothing

BMW ConnectedDrive Services

I have a BMW F36 - 4 Series Gran coupé - UK London.

Thursday 15th March 2018 - Maps has no RTTI data all day.
Friday 16th " " - Maps still has no data - called BMW ConnectedDrive services in the UK, they advise that a major outage is affecting ALL ConnectedDrive services, no ETA on a fix.

BMW Customer Service Telephone - 0800 325 600

Who thinks BMW should have this information updated on the ConnectedDrive website? Last time I checked, (today), no mention whatsoever about system outage. I can still see Remote Cockpit view and when you click on the map to locate your vehicle, it displays a similar RTTI traffic data to what we have in the iDrive display. Seems like RTTI data feed is working but for the website only or maybe they fixed the issue today. I'll jump in my car in about 30mins to drive home, i'll find out then.

Who else from the London/UK area has this problem with a 66 plate or newer?

I had issues when I picked mine up from the dealer Thurs evening after a sensor replacement. Noticed that the app showed car unlocked & also location still at the dealers once I got home. App’s in the Connecteddrive weren’t showing either (weather etc.).

Still same Friday a.m so phoned the dealer & explained situation = asked me to take it back in next week as possibly technician hadn’t calibrated the iDrive once new sensor fitted? Said couldn’t advise any further help.

Phoned my local BMW independent who’ve done a couple jobs in the past for me = have you tried an iDrive reset they asked..? Simple procedure & it was as good as new & phone app linked straight away again, if anything sat-NAV seems slightly quicker when addresses put in?

Press ignition to on (not starting car btw). Press radio on/off button for approx 25secs = until screen goes blank & then BMW Connecteddrive flashes up & good to go (mines an ID5)

Obviously won’t solve everyone’s issues. As someone else said thou the dealers seem lost to advise on simple solutions & to quick to want to hook the car up to the service centre computer🙄
