17" rims on a 2013 335i w/sport package
Looking at purchasing a used 2013 335i w/sport package.
I believe the car has 18" rims with Summer low profile run flats. Can I put 17" wheels on this car? Looking for a non run-flat tire with a taller sidewall. Any recommendations? A solid all-season tire that will handle bumps vs performance. And can do well in colder temps. We don't get much snow here but it does get slick at times. Have had rotten luck with any low-profile tire I've driven and hated the run flats on my 2006 330i. Will throw a spare in the trunk. Any thoughts are welcomed. And PS - I know that 17" wheels might look a little funny. And that this is a performance car... But my last BMW destroyed 5 Pirelli P zero nero tires. Sidewall damage from potholes. Bigger sidewalls would make me a happy camper! Thx! S |

If it has stock brakes, 17" wheels will work. 335i comes with 17" if no option is choosen (at least in Europe). If it has M Sport or M Performance Brakes your only option is 18" or larger wheels. |
