I've seen discussions and marketing materials that indicate my HUD in my 2015 F36 should have more color, especially in the map view.



However my HUD looks nothing like this and is mostly orange, except the speed limit which is in a white square.

Was this just a change for 2015 or is there something i can change (including coding) that alters this?

The colorful view only shows up for me when I'm on the highway. Back to orange when I get on the side streets

Hi,

Originally, ALL intersections were simple orange "line drawings" in my car's HUD.

Sometime ago, I made the following coding:
HU_NBT > 3000 HMI > JUNCTION_VIEW_HUD from nicht_aktiv to aktiv

Now most major intersections appear as shown above with colored route markers -- black & white US, red white & blue Interstate

Really quite helpful

Hey Bobby! See you're getting to know your girl a bit.

My HUD is full color and my speed only goes orange at night.

However, my wife's 2013 X3 is mostly orange. It has some color during Nav, but mostly for exits.

My old 2012 F30 had more color. My 2015 is very vivid with Nav and my speed is white.

Check the settings menu to see if you can change the color; I've never tried.

JUNCTION_VIEW_HUD was already enabled by default on my car.

I tested this on he highway and I get full color

Ok, that looks more like it. Exits tend to have a nice animation also.

HUD is one of the coolest car tech I've seen.

Haven't used Navigation yet so not sure how it displays on the HUD, but I find that mine is mostly white. During the day, everything is white and at night my speed is in orange but music interface is white
