Ordered F31
New in this section - I'm an M5 owner so usually over there - but ordered a Luxury 328i Touring yesterday so I thought I'd drop by. Looks like a March build with a June delivery. The car replaces my wife's 2004 E500 wagon.
Here's the spec Mineral White/Saddle with Anthracite roofliner. Sports Seats Adaptive M Running gear Alarm Variable Sports Steering Comfort access system Panorama Roof DAB + Tuner HK Surround Sound TV HUD Professional navigation Sunblinds for side windows Seat heating - front seats Burled walnut trim Highlight trim finishers Xenons + adaptive + high beam assist Lane Change warning Parking assist Telephony/smartphone connectivity Any other 328i Touring buyers here? |

well not a 328i unfortunately but my 320i m sport touring has just arrived from Germany and i should have it by end of next week.
I was told production on 328i touring was delayed till May, thus being a August delivery. I was initially looking at the 328i but the delayed build date changed my mind, plus the fact i would have lost my license very quickly with a 328i Your touring will be super classy |

Congtrats! That is darn near fully loaded.
Which colour interior did you go with? You have the option of anthracite wood trim! Did you know and have you seen it? Is the adaptive running gear the adaptive suspension?

Interesting info on the delay in 328i production. I'll have to wait and see. |

Yes, I think the adaptive running gear is the ordering system's name for adaptive suspension. It cost $2200 if that helps confirm it. |

im sure it was the dealer making stuff up, so i would get a 320i
If you have ordered one, i would say March would be correct as that is what i had heard previously as well |

Yeah I think adaptive with LCT is about that much. Without LCT it is $1500, but you would be well and truly over the threshold

I'm going back to BMW Sydney this weekend to have a second test drive on the 320i M Sport but the dealer knows i'm keen on 328i as i really like the power from the sedan 328i M sport.
i was told if i order this month, the car will leave Germany in July -> in Sydney about August/September (perfect timing for me as my finance of the current one will finish by then). Would love to see a 328i Touring review soon. Enjoy and Congrats. |

Got my F31 320ED 8AT last week.
Didn't order DAB, rear park sensors, cruise control, Bluetooth, etc but got it anyway ;-) Got the visibility pack and sports seat though. ZF 8AT excellent with stop/start. DAB cuts out when no signal and doesn't revert to FM, despite selecting that option. Xenon high beam failed on first use. Already spent 2 hours with dealer.....grrrrr There's no "up" on the passenger side heater control - Bit odd. Apart from that...Doing 56mpg already! |

First time post. I've put a deposit on an Alpine White F31 328I M Sport. Panorama Roof & Aluminium Satinated Roof Rails. Delivery in 3 weeks. I've asked about optioning Park Assist, Nav Pro & Internet & waiting to see what they can do. They've thrown in the Advanced Driving Course at Eastern Creek which I am stupidly excited about.
Unfortunately no demo models in Sydney at the moment so test drove a F30 328I which was awesome. It appears the first time I will see one in the flesh is the day I take delivery. I'm replacing my 1999 VT Commodore Wgn with 240,000 ks on it. As you can imagine a massive upgrade. |

My car is somewhere between Fremantle and Melbourne. The dealer expects to receive it on the 25th so still a chance for delivery this month. |
