no production of RWD BMWs until Feb 2015?

a respected BMW dealership is reporting that no RWD BMWs are going into production until February? is BMW celebrating record sales by giving their factory workers the month of Janauary off? what is going on, I thought August was the re-tooling month?

any information / status would be most appreciated!

This can't possibly be true! I have been waiting 5 months for my 435GC to go into production which is scheduled for this Monday. So BMWNA is giving the middle finger salute to all RWD customers expecting a January production? Not very likely.

What did you order to have to wait 5 months?!?! The leather dash?

My car went into production withing weeks of ordering. I have seen some that went into production within days. Five months is just unacceptable!

Yes, the Leather Dash. I ordered the car when the leather dash was available then was told it was no longer available. However, my SA pulled some strings and was able to place the order with the LD and said it may delay production by a few weeks (HA!). Now 5 months later, production is scheduled for this month. Fortunately, I have an E90 that is paid off therefore I don't need a new vehicle, I just want one

Sounds like I'm working at the wrong place!
