Just Ordered and thanks !!
Hi All
Been a member for a couple of months and have found the forum a huge help in deciding final choice and options. Really good to hear from current owners rather than dealers - so thanks to all. Finally went with the following F31 - 330d M Sport Interior / Exterior Tanzanite Blue Brushed Aluminium Trim High-gloss Black interior trim finisher Black Dakota leather Packages M Sport Plus package (Great advice on this one !!) Media package - BMW Professional Visibility package Interior comfort package Optional Equipment Enhanced Bluetooth EXt Mirrors Folding & dipping Lumber Support (I'm getting old .....) Seat Heating The dealer confirmed MY2014 build with I touch - have to see how well it works in practice One gripe - Colours and Upholstery, generally a poor choice for such a top spec car. Standard colours White, Grey, Black, Blue , Red. Individual colours a different Black, Grey, Blue and Smokey Topaz - pretty unadventurous. Upholstery: Beige - had this on a 335 and eventually went blue (jeans) and aged poorly - The dealer said this happens with cheap £10 jeans (the cheek!!) Coral Red - I like , but my wife vetoed - "pimpmobile" she muttered Black - well its black Indiviual leathers nice - but real expensive... and I ran out of money!! So when in Individual just not really that indiviual? After all " We are all individuals...." |

Nice choices, I myself opted for the beige leather and found it fine over 8 months and 8K miles, never even cleaned it.
Car being Pxed in two weeks, it has been fast but I soon got used to the grunt and wanted more TBH. Four up and it starts to yawn. 330D F31 M Sport EBII.

Nice choice of colour
With regards to the beige leather, mine is holding up very nicely after 11 months. Maybe my jeans aren't cheap? After spending so much on the interior it's quite a relief to hear it

Sounds a nice spec... Bear in mind the 3 series isn't a top spec car. That's what the 6 and 7 series are!

You can always ask for a colour that is not on their list. I asked for Valencia Orange as I was less than happy with the standard and the normal individual colour choice. And that's what I got.

That is a great looking colour for the F31. How much extra is that on top of the listed individual paint cost?

Of course they did. I went for the black Individual interior leather with the M Performance trim Alcantara & carbon fibre.
