Did it fit without taking the bumper off. Thanks @FLOOR_it but that site in Canada would be a hassle to send back if it didn't fit.

Anyone else recently bought one that fit without taking the bumper off?
Yes I had to take off the grey original piece and just replace it with the diffuser. The only complicated part is the plastic clips. I watched this

Took around 30 mins tops and I'm not that confident with this kind of stuff!

The bumper stayed on the car the whole time.

Still no luck, anyone find one that fits and could put a link on here. Only choice now is to get the genuine bmw one I guess.

I got mine from Bavauto and didn't have any fitment issues. The size looks to be on point and I did NOT take the bumper off to install.

I would take a look at RW Carbon
https://www.********.com/167/3/0/679...-diffuser.html

And ProAutoMotion
https://www.proautomotion.com/shop/b...-splitter-lip/

These are the two brands that I'm considering. There are installation videos for the ProAutoMotion front splitter and rear diffuser on YouTube from KiesMotorsports. Parts look pretty decent with good fit in the videos.

Front splitter video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FiU80a8qvQo

Rear Diffuser video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q7J8vM6lVDc

I'm still waiting on my car to be delivered, otherwise I would have already fitted one of the two. I'll know sometime in April

I honestly think that the only one that will fit properly is the OEM one. I bought 2 replica rear diffusers from eBay and they all had similar figment issues. Both were short by about 2-3mm vs the OEM piece that it replaces.

BUT....I was able to install the 2nd one with less difficulty and some “encouragement”. They appear to be made by the same factory. So what was the difference? Temperature. The day I installed the 2nd one, it was sunny and the air temps was about 60 degrees. The first one was attempted when it was near freezing outside. I had measured both in my house to the OEM gray diffuser and it was about 2mm shorter. But as it was being installed, the plastic cooled and became SHORTER! The 2mm deficit became closer to 5mm. So yeah, it’s crappy plastics apparently that shrinks with cooling. I actually brought out a hairdryer to heat up the diffusser and it fit easier. I still have a mild 2mm gap on one side now that it’s installed. I never took off the bumper cover. I did pop out the red reflectors from behind the bumper cover to allow me to push in the clips easier. Now that I think about it, I think I would have had an easier time had I trimmed the tabs on the diffuser slightly so that everything lined up.

The packaging for both diffusers seemed identical and the factory stickers on them looked the same. So it looks like most vendors are selling the SAME Taiwanese units made by the same company! Again, this is based on the 2 that I bought. My guess is that the replica units were made from the OEM ones but they used plastics that seem to shrink in cooler conditions. My guess is that better figment may be due to owners installing in hotter climates. I have no data to back up my theory but I am convinced based on my own experience. Good luck, guys. I’m happy with mine. I just can’t justify paying 3 times the money for the OEM one.

You can buy painted reflectors or remove the ones you have and paint them yourself. I think I got mine from iND. a little pricey, but the color was solid.
