2018 330i RWD, 255 40 R18 Tire Snow chains recommendations?

So I returned my beloved 2015 xdrive 335 manual tranny and got a 2018 330 rwd with automatic tranny (sadly)

Anywho I go to mammoth mountain here in southern california quite often and we do require chains every now and then. I am really not going to buy snow tires for a lease.

Really having difficulty finding the right size snow chains or snow cables for this tire size, any ideas? again they are 255 40 R 18

They should be easy to find - pretty much any auto parts store. Although some down in SoCal probably don't even carry many/any - I can walk into Autozone or O'Reilly's up here in Seattle and get them. Probably have to order them.

One thing, though. 255 is pretty wide; any chains (cables) you put on them are going to clang/rub as there's not much room left. (Springs or fenders, there should be enough vertical space not to rub on the liner.) My snow tires are 225/45R17 or 225/45R18 - I had chains on the former just yesterday.

Note that my car, being an E90 has different tire sizes. But the same comments on width apply equally to an F30 like my wife's 328xd.

I am sorry for the loss of your two cylinders and pedal.
