I agree. I'm just looking forward to seeing it in flesh... I'm sure it will look much better than spy shots. I still really want a 4 convertible!

Side profile looks great. Front bumper design is strange, which is further exposed by lighter colors. Concept car looked better.

The floating side vent isnt as prominent at night and covered up in the camo thus no one really discusses the fact that it just looks placed there and does not flow at all with the lines of the car. I get the functionality but its just not 100% on aesthetics.

The car will grow on us even the uber-skeptics, we just have to see some of the other ones without the "Bulldog Bumper"...

I still think this is a great looking car. The front bumper isn't perfect but it's no disaster and we will get used to it much quicker than the E60's "Dame Edna" face. A face that keeps it looking modern even today, so I have no worries about this bumper.

Ok not an apples2apples comparison but the EClass coupe looks awesome and in my country will cost about the same as a 4 series. Why they don't do an AMG version I don't know!

Agreed. Benz really has some standout designs now - both interior and exterior. That E-class coupe looks sensational. If it looks this good in a picture you can be guarantee that it will look even better in the flesh in a better color!!!

Actually, I want to like the E Coupe, but it looks a little big-boned in person. I think they should have pushed the rear wheels out just a little; their position makes the car appear to be on tiptoes - as was also true for E60s with 17" wheels.

I was thinking the same, but couldn't put it so succinctly. Almost a Korean look, don't you think?

The funny thing is if you go to MB.USA.COM they just stole that bumper and it is on the gray c63 sedan. Here is the link...

Hi Sauerkraut - I WISH That was the new C-class but unfortunately its not. It is the new 2014 E Class coupe. It's just too big of a car for my personal preference.

And that AMG in the link is the new 2014 E-Class AMG which has already been released. So looks like BMW stole BENZ's front spoiler hahaha!!!

BTW: the new EClass AMG S 'Destroyer' does 0-60mph in 3.5sec. http://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/benz/i...l-2014_E63_AMG

And here are the new other coupe/cab EClass variants: http://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/benz/i..._and_Cabriolet

i shall reserve proper judgement until official real / i see one on the road, but initially i don't think it looks as elegant as the e92. Still very nice though!

Definitely look as if they are trying to copy Benz with their front bar on the new road going E Class sedan. Much prefer the new 2014 E Class coupe/cab front as above. I think I may be disappointed with the new C Class though.

Holy crap you are right. I stand corrected and I agree it's rather huge, and looks like the C from the front.

I do like the C-Cpe a lot tho. I am just saying it's sooo nice.

No worries Sauerkraut. I also like the C-coupe a lot too. The design is well balanced.
